A Profoundly Sick Society

The state of culture, parenting, and propaganda is becoming increasingly delusional and superstitious. The current living generations in the West have only known unprecedented freedoms, prosperity, and a life of relative ease. Individual and collective decadence is polluting the zeitgeist. This decadence is so pervasive that few know or can imagine anything else. One of the great delusions is that unelected bureaucrats can centrally control (rig) the economy to benefit the federal government and the wealthy by artificially suppressing interests rates and printing vast sums of fiat currency (debt) will somehow lead to wealth broadly. This is only an illusion of wealth. Hence, a critical function of the U.S. military in the 21st century is defend the mighty dollar from potential rival currencies (currently not going well). The dollar, as the global reserve trade currency, and extraordinary financial shenanigans has permitted American excess beyond imagination. Whenever anything is treated like an unlimited resource it is sure to be corrupted. Since currency is the way we measure and often derive value with in our society, if it becomes corrupt so does everything else. This is at least part of the reason that most major institutions in the U.S. are thoroughly corrupt. The U.S. Federal government is at the very top of the list. For most of us alive today, corruption and excessive consumption is the norm. In order to participate in corruption, one must reconfigure their values and personal myths in order to conform. The delusions are rooted lies we chronically tell ourselves to shirk our responsibilities and just go along.

Being responsible and accountable for one’s actions is no longer a value within our society. Minus from from working classes, senior leaders, politicians, media, and government are exempted under the current paradigm. What happens to a society when all of its institutions have become corrupt and there is no accountability? Nothing good.

Common sense and reason has been thrown out the window, instead we are a culture driven by superstition and lore. If nothing makes rational sense anymore, that is because it has been abandoned. Propaganda, PR, advertising, and something akin to 5th generation warfare is our operating system. Many of these are at odds with our nature and higher aspirations, in order to go along, we are essentially making ourselves crazy. We saw this during the pandemic, where those who questioned, used reason, and tried to inform themselves in such a way that they could come to their own conclusions were vilified. The push for totalitarianism, which we flirted with, was quite remarkable, considering we live in a Constitutional Republic that seeks to limit federal power and maximize freedom. Studies show the government response to the pandemic substantially altered the country. Patriotism, family values, and community participation and even things like IQ fell through the floor, while our desire and love of money is at an all time high.
