Terrorism – (Merriam-Webster) the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion
Much ado has been made about domestic terrorism since the January 6 protests in DC. The question is do we, people of this Nation, fear similar instances occurring on a daily basis? It seems evident that J6 was crowd psychology and angry protests gone chaotic (what’s up with all the FBI instigation and refusing to release video?). Anyone who has witnessed large protests knows that things can get out of hand quickly. J6 was not an insurrection it was weak vulnerable people angry at a system that has thrown them overboard and told them that they are the problem while, at least in their minds, stealing an election. Having lived in DC and other major cities I have seen numerous crowds get unruly. Last year we watched on a weekly basis social justice protesters turned rioters burning and killing. The only person who was killed during J6 was an unarmed white women at the hand of a black cop. I have tremendous compassion for and partly identify with the working-class, Christians, and those who still believe in the founding documents that are willing to put up some resistance, their days are numbered. Do we as a populous fear working-class Christian conservatives on a daily basis? If we look at the situation critically it is clear that underlying anxiety, fear, and coercion comes from a different place.
Do we fear being censored, doxed, reputations ruined, saying the wrong thing, or having cities burned by working-class Christian conservatives? Hell No! They are the ones who fight our wars, work hard to repair and build, and largely protect us. We as a Nation increasingly fear those in power feeding us Woke ideology, the Left that is quickly becoming tyrannical. They are using sophisticated propaganda and psychology, coercion and threats of violence to terrorize a Nation to submit to their will. Trump never threatened to use F-15s or bombs against his detractors, Biden did. Polling indicates that conservatives’ perspectives remain largely unchanged, mainly centrist over the past two decades, heck, Trump was basically an 1990s-early 2000s democrat, minus his stance on trade policy. On the other hand the Left has moved substantially and far left during the same period.
I lived in downtown Baltimore with anxiety for many years (black on black and black on white violent crime is routine). Because of the constant and real threat of violence and having to be on guard I developed what became unnoticeable but chronic anxiety. I only noticed this anxiety after I left Baltimore for a few days and relaxed and was able to catch my breath. That is essentially what the modern left is doing to the populous of this Nation, they are increasing anxiety and putting us in fear and on guard. We are modifying our behaviors, afraid to speak, and even stand up for ourselves, that to me is what terrorism looks like. 9/11 didn’t have this effect. The threats of Islamic terrorism never created the same fear and anxiety that we are experiencing from today’s left… threats and coercion are constant. The Nation has changed its identity, its character, its soul, it is abusing children and giving up on hard work and God to placate the post-modern Left. It will never be enough. We must not allow ourselves to succumb to threats of violence and fear. It is not healthy to have constant foreboding and anxiety.
