A recent article in The Atlantic called for “pandemic amnesty” in an attempt by the professional and managerial classes to distance themselves from their outright stupidity that harmed a great deal of people. The article did not attempt to apologize to those whom their stupidity hurt, simply they want to be excused because “we didn’t know”. But others did know.
What I saw in 2019 was the banking system having very serious problems and in need of alot of liquidity, and powerful interests wanted a populous President out. In autumn of 2019, a mock corona virus pandemic event was simulated, Event 201, hosted by the World Economic Forum and the Gates Foundation. I said to my wife in October of 2019, “Something big has to happen in March or April (2020).” When I heard about the pandemic, coming in right on time, I said, “This is it.” The pandemic, if nothing else, injected $Trillions in freshly printed liquidity into the markets, that went disproportionately into the pockets of the .001%. The election shenanigans it permitted got rid of an irritating President. If anything, the virus ended up being an under-performer and did not meet expectations of severe illness and death. That’s okay, they still shoved the fear down our throats and rallied hate, encouraging the masses to project their unresolved traumas onto others.
One of Cipolla’s Laws of Stupidity, is that stupidity is independent of any other characteristic of a person. If you combine this with evidence that suggests Republicans with little education and Democrats with advanced degrees are equally as skewed in their perception of reality, they are both wack-a-doodle, one can understand the real problem during the pandemic – Stupidity, especially at the highest levels.
The 5 basic laws of human stupidity
1. Always and inevitably, each of us underestimates the number of stupid individuals in the world
2. The probability that a certain person is stupid is independent of any other characteristic of the same person
3. A stupid person is one who causes harm to another person or group without at the same time obtaining a benefit for himself or even damaging himself
4. Non-stupid people always underestimate the harmful potential of stupid people
5. The stupid person is the most dangerous person that exists
The calls for “pandemic amnesty” is a call to overlook the dangers of stupidity and worse to continue on with it.
One of the most significant drivers of ego is the desire to feel superior. My goodness, did the stupid people fall into this trap. We even came up with a name for them “Karens”. The credentialed, NPR listening crowd got taken for a ride. Their mask slipped and now we see their actions were based on pure unadulterated stupidity. Unquestionably, the common sense of the working classes out performed and outclassed their “betters”. What some realized is that highly credentialed are not smarter, just more indoctrinated. This jives with studies showing that a third of people who go to college emerge with a poorer ability to think critically with another third having no improvement.
The data surrounding the virus was obviously and suspiciously terrible from the start. The government also created many perverse incentives to skew the data higher. The lack of actual science and trustworthy data are prominent features of the pandemic response, that continue today. This was a pandemic of fear, propaganda, fiction, and superstition. That is to say, it was orchestrated, poorly at that.
What about those incredible vaccines? The medical and R&D establishment failed the world. Even when the pandemic was at its worst, inexpensive treatments were suppressed. The protocols that were established were, at times, barbaric. Even going so far as to steal patients breath, their life force, by being put on ventilators instead of receiving early treatments. Hospitals received additional compensation for each ventilated patient. There was no talk of health during the health crisis. Theee was nothing else to do but stay at home and wait for the Big Pharma miracle. Quite frankly, the vaccines have proven to be ineffective and are clearly causing harm. They never prevented the spread or a person from contracting the disease. They say, it prevents severe illness and death, but that is hard to know. We do know that the “vaccines” were poorly tested and it was highly motivated by profit. I suspect we are only beginning to see the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the harm these shots have done.
I had a feeling this was going to be swept under the rug while still pushing the vaccines. Here we are. For those who stood up against the onslaught of hate and name calling, just letting bygones be bygones is not enough. There need to be assurances that nothing like this will EVER happen again!
